The Bélanger Ora faucet has received Gold Certification from INT.design’s GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN Awards, recognizing the collection for its distinctive approach to bathroom faucet design.

Created in Canada to celebrate Bélanger’s 60th anniversary, Ora brings together contemporary design, thoughtful functionality and a concept inspired by the passage of time.

And the story is not over yet. Ora is also in the running for the People’s Choice Award, giving the public the opportunity to support their favourite Gold-certified designs.

What is the Bélanger Ora faucet?

Ora is a three-piece widespread bathroom faucet created to mark Bélanger’s 60th anniversary.

One of its defining features is its unique approach to water control. Rather than using the handle to turn the water on and off each time, Ora separates temperature and flow.

The handle sets the water temperature, while a dedicated push button controls the flow. Once the preferred temperature is set, the faucet can simply be turned on or off with the push of a button.

The result is a bathroom faucet designed to feel intuitive, refined and distinctly different.

What award did the Ora faucet receive?

Ora earned Gold Certification at the GRANDS PRIX DU DESIGN Awards by INT.design in the Kitchen & Bathroom product category.

The international awards program recognizes excellence across product design, architecture and interior design.

For Bélanger, the recognition comes at an especially meaningful time as the company celebrates 60 years of faucet design in 2026.

What inspired the Ora faucet design?

Ora was inspired by the passage of time.

Its rounded forms, balanced proportions and distinctive push-button operation were developed to recognize Bélanger’s history while introducing a fresh approach to bathroom faucet design.

That design thinking has also continued beyond Ora.

The Bélanger Symbio collection, introduced after Ora, builds on some of the same design principles with sculptural forms, refined detailing and a focus on creating faucets that feel as considered as the spaces around them.

Celebrating 60 years of Bélanger

Ora was created to celebrate Bélanger’s first 60 years while also representing what comes next.

Its Gold Certification recognizes the collection’s design, but Ora has also helped shape the next chapter of Bélanger product development, including collections such as Symbio.

For us, that makes this recognition about more than one faucet. It is a celebration of Canadian design, six decades of experience and the ideas that continue to move Bélanger forward.
